FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much deposit do I need?

As a rule, banks finance up to 90% of the property value for an owner-occupied main home, so count on around 10% as a deposit, plus deed costs and taxes.

Fixed, variable or mixed rate?

There are three types. With a fixed rate, the instalment does not change during the agreed fixed-rate period. With a variable rate, it follows the index (usually the Euribor) plus the spread, and can go up or down. With a mixed rate, you have a fixed rate for the first few years and then it becomes variable. It depends on your profile and on sleeping soundly: we explain all three with numbers and help you choose. We don't push you towards any of them.

How much does your service cost?

Nothing for you. We are a credit intermediary and the banks pay us.

No obligation

Shall we talk about your case?

Tell us what you need. The Guru studies your situation, compares the partner banks and tells you, with numbers, what makes sense for you. It's free.
